The Bistecca experience begins by pulling up a stool or sitting at a candle-lit table in the old-world, wood-panelled cocktail bar, stocked with amaro from across the world, including our Four Pillars classic Negroni. Moving into the intimate 50-seat restaurant, you’re greeted by refined hospitality. From the table, take in our famous Bistecca butcher’s block and open hearth, which fills the dining room with timeless warmth. The space then flows to a bottle-lined enoteca (wine room) available for private dining.

Bistecca is fast paced, though our guests should be met with a warm, timeless and nostalgic feeling, that is sincere and welcoming. We want them to feel comfortable, and still have a sense of the raw, rustic, and a little bit of cheek!

At Bistecca, the meat is cut and weighed, then presented to diners before being cooked fireside over ironbark and charcoal to a perfect medium-rare. The lovingly curated, award-winning wine list solely features Italian grape varieties, sourced exclusively from Italy and Australia.

About the Role:

You’ll be reliable, efficient & charismatic amongst the rousing and buzzy atmosphere of one of our dining rooms. Waitering experience in a busy and energetic venue is preferred, along with an interest in Italian grapes and producers.

About the Role

You’ll be reliable, efficient & charismatic amongst the rousing and buzzy atmosphere of the dining room at Alfie’s. Hosting experience in a busy and energetic venue is preferred as Alfie’s will be all action.

To be a successful part of this team you will  be focused, yet charming and cheeky with the ability to think on your  feet in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an energetic venue with a quick turn around period would be preferable, along with knowledge of SevenRooms.

You will work Monday to Friday, with the majority of your shifts being lunch.

The Role

We are looking for an energetic and professional food runner to join our team at The Gidley and take control of the pass.

About the Role

We are offering a full time bartender position that calls for adaptability and a willingness to engage in cross-training across various areas of the venue from hosting, shaking tins, walking guests through our food menu & showing everyone a great time. The role is a perfect platform for a committed hospitality individual to perform in a small venue where their personality and customer focussed attitude can shine.

Core responsibilities:

  • Providing uplifting hospitality via food, beverage and service.
  • Making cocktails from a list of seasonal drinks.
  • Hosting the room.
  • Engage with guests and create a memorable experience.

Essential skills & traits:

  • Minimum two years experience working in cocktail bars.
  • Clearly spoken with a friendly, professional and welcoming tone.
  • Willingness to create memorable experiences in bars and/or restaurants.
  • Initiative in developing your knowledge and skills.

  • RSA certification.

Sydney-based hospitality group, Liquid & Larder, are searching for waiters to join the team at our newest venue Alfie’s on Bligh Street.

Alfie’s pushes the boundaries and be unapologetically dynamic, fast-paced and impactful while still delivering world-class food, drinks and service. The new concept, which has not yet been seen in Sydney, will disrupt the CBD’s ever emerging trend of American steakhouses and grand brasseries, offering a premium alternative with exceptional value for money.

About the Role:

You’ll be reliable, efficient & charismatic amongst the rousing and buzzy atmosphere of one of our dining rooms. Waitering experience in a busy and energetic venue is preferred.

You’ll be focused on our guests the moment they walk through the door and join a team that understands camaraderie & banding together to carry out a memorable guest experience.
