Liquid & Larder is searching for an experienced and engaging Bartender to join the all day bar team at Bar Julius, located in the vibrant lobby of The EVE Hotel.

Bar Julius is a lively, European-inspired bar where no two shifts are the same whether you’re shaking martinis, pouring the perfect spritz, or welcoming regulars by name with their favourite coffee. You’ll be part of a team that sets the tone from first light to last orders.

About The Venue:

Located in Sydney’s Redfern, on the fringe of Surry Hills and Redfern’s creative hub, The EVE sits at the heart of a new lifestyle precinct, Wunderlich Lane, and will feature a rooftop restaurant and bar, poolside dining, lobby bar and dining, as well as an in-room dining service all under Liquid & Larder’s remit as the hotel’s exclusive hospitality partner. 

Bar Julius is The Eve’s European-inspired lobby bar. A welcoming and vibrant hub that caters to every taste, open early and up late, from caffeine to cocktails served alongside all-day bistro classics. It’s a place for our guests to settle in and reset as such the venue requires a strong bar team with the desire to create unique experiences for our guests as we deliver an exceptional all-day dining.

About The Role:

This all day dining experience starts with you. With excellent attention to detail and warm communication, you will provide a personal, professional, and engaging experience, understanding our guests’ needs and expectations while delivering best-in-class service. Whether you’re tending to guests seated at the bar or serving drinks in the dining room, your role will be key to creating memorable moments. 

And most importantly, you’ll be having a great time doing it!

Your Day-to-Day:

• Deliver food and beverage service in line with venue standards and sequence of service
• Prepare and serve drinks to Bar Julius’ specifications
• Assist with bar set-up, pack-down, and daily operations
• Build and maintain strong guest relationships to enhance the overall experience
• Contribute positively to venue culture and teamwork

About You:

• Proven experience in a premium or hatted venue is preferred 
• Confident, calm, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and genuine passion for guest experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Flexible availability, including morning, evenings and weekends
