A private dining room built for one table only, seating up to fourteen and closed off from the noise and fire of the main room. It’s quiet, contained, and deliberately set apart from the rest of Bistecca.
You’ll find it inside Bistecca at 3 Dalley Street in the Sydney CBD, open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.

The menu
Your guests sit down to a menu selected for the room. The only decision you’ll need to make is the weight of bistecca alla Fiorentina served per person: Riverine Black Angus, cooked over charcoal and ironbark, then carved for the table. The menu can be adapted for dietary requirements. Let us know when you book so the kitchen has notice.
The wine
Our Head Sommelier has written a list just for this room. It’s built on Italian grape varieties, sourced only from Italy and Australia. Finish with Bistecca’s tiramisu and something from a bar stocked with amaro from around the world.

Client dinners that need privacy. Birthdays and milestones worth more than a booking in the main room. End-of-year and Christmas dinners for the team. One table, one menu, and nothing to interrupt the conversation.

Anyone under the age of eighteen is not permitted in Bistecca.

Why the Cappelletti Room?
Our private dining room takes its name from the Cappelletti family, Italian herbalists behind several amari (bitter liqueurs). Bistecca’s founders visited their distillery on the trip that shaped Bistecca as it is today.

Can we fit more than 14 people in?
The table comfortably seats 14 guests, which we recommend as the ideal number. However, 16 can be accommodated if needed, though space will be limited. We recommend booking for 14 and contacting us at amaro@bistecca.com.au to extend your reservation.

There’s a minimum spend of $2,500 plus a 10% service charge, which goes towards your food and drink.
