High above Surry Hills, Lottie pulses with city energy. Perched on The Eve Hotel rooftop, it’s a seasonal escape that blends bold Mexican flavours with standout Australian produce. Vibrant, laid-back, and full of intent.
Murray cod from a regenerative farm. Free-range pork jowl. Aged beef from sibling restaurant Alfie’s. Every dish is crafted with care and lifted by an agave-focused drinks list.
The experience begins with housemade salsas and crisp tostadas. Creamy, spicy, nutty, and sharp. They set the tone for small, punchy dishes designed to be eaten in one perfect bite. Highlights include prawn and carrot aguachile with salsa macha and pickled jicama, corn leche de tigre with morita and basil, and cola mole pork jowl with pickled fennel. Handmade tortillas, pressed daily from Mexican masa, sit at the centre of it all.
At its core is a dedicated Mezcaleria, a rarity in Sydney. Agave leads the drinks list with mezcals, raicillas, tequilas, and a Margarita lineup that is classic, spiced or seasonal. Cocktails are fresh and layered with chamoy, hibiscus, chilli, and lime. Natural wines and thoughtful non-alc options complete the offering.
Designed by George Livissianis, the space mirrors the menu. Cayenne terrazzo underfoot, soft banquettes, climbing greenery and skyline views. A rooftop that’s tactile, open, and just the right amount of poolside cool. From long lunches to icy Margaritas at sundown, everything lands better up here.
